Microvellum Joins Architectual Woodwork Institute (AWI) Technology Committee

CENTRAL POINT, ORE—David Fairbanks, Owner/President of Microvellum, has recently joined the AWI Technology Committee.

Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI), founded in Chicago in 1954, offers the woodworking industry opportunities for education, networking, and compliance resources. Their goal is to set and maintain the industry standards for interior architectural woodworking. The AWI Technology Committee was created to help provide awareness and education on technology in the industry.

David accepted the invitation to join the Technology Committee to share his experience and knowledge with AWI members. Not only will he share his expertise, but he will also learn from others about other current and upcoming trends in the woodworking industry.

“I'm excited to take part in this tech committee and not only offer but also gain insight into technology advances. Keeping up with industry knowledge and being a part of our community ensures that we can equip our clients and team to streamline the way they work, delivering rock-solid service,” shared David.

Since joining the AWI Technology Committee, David, his colleagues, and other AWI committee members eagerly anticipate participating in leadership conferences, conventions, and industry events. These gatherings will foster awareness of technological advancements in machinery, management software, engineering tools, and other industry innovations. David's dedication to supporting fellow AWI members reflects our core values of approachability, transparency, and authenticity.

"We prioritize maintaining open communication with our partners. Engaging with organizations like AWI and others in the woodworking community underscores our dedication to continuous learning and supporting fellow industry members.."

David's active involvement with the AWI community mirrors our dedication to ongoing learning and fostering positive outcomes.
