About Wood Industry Association
The Wood Industry Association (WIA) was established on January 1, 2024, as a merger between the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA) and the Woodworking Machinery Industry Association (WMIA). Since the merger, it has been able to invest more resources into member programs, safety standards, public policy, expand committee and volunteer opportunities, and more. Its goal is to improve the connection between the wood machinery and supplies industry for success in North America.
