Central Point, Oregon – March 3, 2014 – Microvellum, Inc., a leading cabinet design and manufacturing software provider, specializing in AutoCAD based CAD/CAM/CIM technologies, officially announced that Craig Snee, a long time service provider for Microvellum and woodworking professional, has been appointed as an Account Manager.
Snee was introduced to the woodworking while attending Tampa Bay Tech, a vocational school in Tampa Bay Florida, where he learned the basics of woodworking. While attending school, Snee also held a part-time job at a cabinet shop in Tampa called Gulf Millwork where he was introduced to real-world cabinet making and manufacturing. For nearly 15 years, Snee refined his skills and gained experience in nearly every aspect of wood product manufacturing, from the shop floor and assembly, to project management.
Before transitioning into his own service business, Snee decided to take 4 years and serve in the US Army with the 1st IDF (Big Red 1) and the 101st Airborne. In 1997, he launched his own consulting and service company, helping users of Pattern Systems Software integrate their software.
“When I teach customers that you could make their software replicate what they do each day manually, they realize that there is just no other way to run a shop.” Says Snee.
In 2005, Snee joined the Microvellum team as a Certified Service Provider and began servicing Microvellum customers throughout the United States, Australia, China, Mongolia, Canada and Singapore. During his time as a Certified Service Provider, Snee had the opportunity to help develop many of the core features found within Microvellum’s smart, parametric product data.
“Craig is definitely an asset for our customers and for the Microvellum team in general. His dedication to providing high-quality services combined with his drive and ability to deliver solutions, not just software, falls in line with our model for improved customer service and satisfaction in 2014.” Says Dave Peel, President of Microvellum, Inc.
As an Account Manager, Snee is responsible for the sale, implementation oversight and overall satisfaction of Microvellum customers located in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina (USA). Snee will be supported by a new team of Certified Service Providers that is being assembled by Microvellum’s management team.
“I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to change the way woodworking software is integrated into a production facility. Whether you find yourself in my territory or not, I will do what it takes to ensure your success with the software solutions I am providing…” continued Snee.
