Darren Pendrey

Meet Darren Pendrey, a joiner, drafter, and engineer with over three decades of experience in cabinet making. His woodworking journey began in 1993 as an apprentice for a small cabinet company in Sydney, Australia.

Over five years, he gained hands-on experience as an installer before transitioning to a larger company. There, he held various roles, including CNC machine operator, key set-out specialist, and draftsperson, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the industry.

One of Darren's standout qualities is his passion for customization. He has a keen ability to tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of each project, enabling him to create impressive and distinctive product designs over the years.

As a member of Microvellum’s service team, Darren works to ensure the success of companies adopting Microvellum software for their design-to-manufacturing processes. He provides instruction related to CNC machine integrations, product engineering requirements, and product development. Additionally, he assists with customized reporting, testing, development of standard operating procedures, and other tasks related to setup and integration. Reflecting on his role and what he has learned over the years, Darren shares,
