Nested Part Optimization
Rectangular Nesting
Our rectangular nesting optimizer is a specialized algorithm for nesting of rectangular parts on rectangular sheets of material. Parts are automatically optimized within predefined sheets according to the user defined settings for part placement. Users also have manual control to edit the optimization results and even move parts from sheet to sheet as the need arises. This can be a useful tool when reusing material that may be partially damaged.
True Shape Nesting
Our True Shape Nesting algorithm delivers superior optimization results for irregular shaped parts. Since the exact shape of the part is passed through to the optimizer, more parts can be placed on sheet stock – saving you time and money. Users also have the flexibility to edit the optimizations results.
Stay-down Nesting
Stay-down Nesting can reduce machine cycle times as much as 35% or more, by eliminating excessive bit retraction and plunges for every part within the optimized pattern. Since cutters are only plunging into the material once per sheet, this technology also significantly increases your tool life. Stay-down Nesting is compatible with Rectangular and True Shape optimization.
Common Line Cutting
Common Line Cutting is a process that utilizes the common path between parts as a tool path. This nesting option can significantly reduce your machine cycle time when cutting out rectangular parts like shelves, cabinet sides, backs and tops.
Sawing Optimization
Do you have an automated beam saw or manual panel or table saw? Our solution can provide you with the data you need to efficiently drive your equipment. With a simple slider, you can refine the output to provide higher yield, fewer cycles or a balanced output. Our sawing optimizer is a feature included Plus Tier and above at no additional cost. This value-add tool can help you refine your business, allowing you to utilize a single solution for manufacturing data.
Standard & CNC Saw Optimization
Our non-CNC saw optimization provides the same level of part optimization and efficiency as our automated. Instead of a CNC file, we produce a detailed cut list and sawing optimization report that shows you the part dimensions and cut patterns.
Our CNC Saw Optimization solution provides users the ability to streamline their machine code processing – producing direct machine code for both CNC machining centers as well as CNC beam saws in one simultaneous process. There is no need for additional processing or other 3rd party applications. Simple sliders allow to maximize yield, speed or simply produce a balanced output for single sheets or stacks of panels.
