Central Point, Oregon – March 7, 2014 – Microvellum, Inc., a leading cabinet design and manufacturing software provider, specializing in AutoCAD based CAD/CAM/CIM technologies, officially announced that Ralph Butler, a long time service provider for Microvellum and woodworking professional, has been appointed as an Account Manager.
Butler was first introduced to Microvellum in 1999, when he took a drafting position with TMS Corporation in Richmond, Virginia. While his experience with Microvellum’s software at TMS was limited to design and cutlisting, he knew he was only scratching the surface of its capabilities. Later, Butler moved to Merchants Fixtures in Ashland, Virginia, a fixtures company that produced products for retail and food service. It was here that Butler began to experience the full power of Microvellum.
“We built some pretty amazing custom products at Merchants. Every project started with Microvellum and was proceed through to the Weeke point-to-point and Holzma beam saw for manufacturing.” Says Butler.
In 2005, Butler was offered a service provider position with Microvellum and later went on to become a Certified Service Provider, managing Microvellum’s east coast training facility in Midlothian, Virginia until 2009. To this date, Butler has remained a Certified Service Provider and has helped transform 100’s of shops throughout the United States and Canada through the use of Microvellum’s software.

As an Account Manager, Butler is currently responsible for the sale, implementation oversight and overall satisfaction of Microvellum customers located in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Main, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, and Maryland (USA). Butler will be supported by a new team of Certified Service Providers that is being assembled by Microvellum’s management team.
