Central Point, Oregon – February 28, 2014 – Microvellum, Inc., a leading cabinet design and manufacturing software provider, specializing in AutoCAD based CAD/CAM/CIM technologies, officially announced that John Griffin, a long time service provider for Microvellum and woodworking professional, has been appointed as an Account Manager.
Griffin’s career in the wood industry started in 1992, where he was introduced to building dental, medical, and commercial casework as well as hotel millwork for CA. Martin & Associates. Since then, he has gained experience in nearly every aspect of wood product manufacturing including software, drafting, engineering, project management, shop management, and installation oversight.
In the fall of 2000, Griffin began his software training career with Pattern Systems as an authorized software trainer. In the spring of 2005, Griffin made the switch to Microvellum and continued his career as a Certified Service Provider, training Microvellum Software customer throughout the United States. In 2007, Griffin was introduced as Microvellum’s Southwest training facility overseer in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In the fall of 2009, Griffin was appointed as the Director of Technical Services for Microvellum Inc., where he was responsible for the coordination of all areas of Microvellum’s Technical Support, Services, and Training.
Griffin has remained one of Microvellum’s Certified Service Providers and continues to help transform shops into efficient and profitable businesses through the implementation of Microvellum’s automated technologies.

As an Account Manager, Griffin is currently responsible for the sale, implementation oversight and overall satisfaction of Microvellum customers located in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, WI, and Minnesota (USA). Griffin will be supported by a new team of Certified Service Providers that is being assembled by Microvellum’s management team.
