AutoCAD Based Technology
AutoCAD is simply the world’s most powerful and popular CAD tool. Over the years, it’s popularity has morphed into the “industry standard” for today’s designers, architects, engineers and modern day woodworkers.

Are you an AutoCAD power user?  Toolbox is available in a “For AutoCAD” version as well as OEM version.

*OEM versions do not require AutoCAD.

2D Drawings
Generate live 2D shop drawings that contain all the information needed for manufacturing such as g-code, reporting information, and instant cutlists right from the 3D drawing… with one simple button. This Quick-Draw 2D technology enables you to create detailed shop drawings from your 3D rooms and automatically elevate your walls, calculate dimensions, and assigns product details.

Use built-in 2D drawing tools to add even more details – hatching, text, blocks, and commonly used drawing commands.

3D Drawings & Prototyping
Toolbox allows you to experience your ideas and visualize your products before they are created using AutoCAD’s advanced 3D drawing tools.  Check tolerances, validate your ideas, and develop products with accuracy.

Presentation Renderings
Using AutoCAD’s state-of-the-art rendering technology, CabinetMaker provides professional photo-realistic presentation renderings. With 1000’s of textures and materials to choose from and stunning lighting effects, presentations are extremely realistic. Show customers exactly how a finished item or room will look with 3D perspective views, multi-view ports, realistic and conceptual modes, line drawings, and recorded room walk-through animations.

Estimating
Estimating is easy to setup and allows for full control over pricing per product, project or globally for all projects.  You have control over labor, pricing, sales tax, shipping and installation costs, price adjustments, costs for drawers and other buyout items, and more.

The flexibility contained within CabinetMaker will allow you to produce accurate estimates for your projects.

Reports
CabinetMaker has predefined reports built-in, but allows you to build your own using Mircovellum’s Report Designer.  This easy to use interface truly opens the door for an unlimited amount of reporting possibilities.

Flexible Product Design

Quickly Change Between Construction Methods
Toolbox allows you the flexibility to have multiple construction methods within the same product library.  This feature gives you control over cabinet construction globally at a job level or on a per product basis within your job.
Built-in Order Entry
Microvellum Toolbox allow you to quickly build a job using order entry simply drag and drop products onto your product list.  You can access product variables and change materials for multiple products on the fly. Cutlists for any product in your product list can be viewed or edited instantly.

Single Part Editing
Quickly create parts on the fly using quick machining and panel macros, or single machining operations for drilling, routing, and sawing.  For even greater flexibility, draw parts from your 3D products in 2D and add your custom machining!
Direct Machine Link Technology
Toolbox offers a fully integrated solution for direct machine specific g-code generation for virtually any CNC machine. Microvellum’s Direct Machine Link Technology® enables you to post to a single CNC or multiple machines  - all at the same time with no extra processing.

Nested Based Optimization
Create nests from single parts, individual products, groups of products, entire projects or even multiple projects. Microvellum’s SmartPart® technology offers exceptional small part handling and automatically onion skins parts that might move within the nest.  For even greater control, use the Tab feature for maximum vacuum pressure.
Common Line Cutting
Common Line Cutting is the process of simultaneously cutting adjacent part edges within the nest.  This state-of-the-art nesting technology will increase your productivity while decreasing you overall machine cycle times – up to 50 % and increasing your tool life up to 70%.
