The Parts List contains all the information used in a product.
To access the Parts List, first select a product from the Product List by
left-clicking it. Then, right-click to display the Product List Context
menu. Click “Show Parts List” from the menu and the Parts
List for the selected product will open. The Product List looks the
same as an Excel spreadsheet and is filled with red and black text in each
cell. If the text in a cell is red, then the cell is a formula.
If the text is black, then the value in the cell is
"hard-locked". The term "hard-locked" means that
the value is not driven by a formula, and no matter what parameters are changed
in the product, the value for that cell will always remain the same.
All the data for the product is contained on five different worksheets, or
"tabs", in the Parts List. The worksheets can be found at the
bottom of the Parts List.
