The Part Properties command is another way to view all the part information.  Selecting the "Part Properties" command will display all the part information in a pop-up widow.  This window will be displayed on top of the Parts List.  The Part Properties window is divided into 4 different radio button options.  These radio button options are named the same as the Parts List tabs.  Selecting a different radio button will display the information for the tab.  While in the "Cut Parts" radio button option, selecting a different part in the "Parts List" will display that part information in the part properties window.

Each of the different radio button options are divided into different sections by the tabs across the top of the Part Properties screen.  Each of the different tabs will display different information about that part from the spreadsheet.  Selecting different dialog boxes in the part properties screen will display the formula for that selection in the formula box at the bottom of the Part Properties screen.  You can change the formulas for the part, by editing the formula in the formula box and selecting the "Apply Formula" button.

Part Size

The Part Size tab is where all the general information for the part is stored.  From here you are able to change the part name, size, materials, and edge banding information.

Origin & Rotation

The Origin & Rotation tab shows where the part lives from the product origin and the rotation of the part.  You can also change the "Base Point" and "Machine Origin" of the part.  The benefit of using the Origin & Rotation tab to change these items, instead of the spreadsheet, is the part window that is displayed on the screen.  This window gives you an accurate description of the rotation of the product, as well as, the corner of the "Base Point" and "Machine Origin".  The Base Point is represented with a red dot and the Machine Origin represented by a blue dot.  If both the Base Point and Machine Point are on the same corner, the dot will turn green.  You can also change the part to a mirrored part from this screen.

Drawing Tokens

The Drawing Tokens tab controls the parts that are being drawn in the AutoCAD Drawing.  You have the control over how the part is displayed in 3D, as well as, 2D.  If this information is empty, the part is not drawn.  Please see the Drawing Tokens section for more information on the drawing tokens.

Machining Tokens Tab

The Machining Tokens tab is the easiest and most efficient way to edit the machining operations for your part.  While on the Machining Tokens tab you have four different parts to the display.  The right-pane window which is the Machine Token List.  This will display a list of all the machining tokens currently attached to your product.  Right-clicking on this window will display the Machine Token context menu which allows you to add, remove, and copy a machine token.  To remove or copy a token, the token must be highlighted before selecting the option.

The left-pane window is used to display a help picture for the machining token or machining token parameter.  The gray window underneath the two panes is used to display help text information for that machining token or machining token parameter.  Below the gray window is the formula box, which will display the formula for the selected machining token or machining token parameter.

Every machining token in the Machine Token list has different parameters available that allow you to control the machining operation in different ways.  Different help text and help pictures will be displayed when you select different parameters to help you understand how that parameter changes the machining operation.
