Microvellum has incorporated many different methods of applying
machining operations to panels. These include template
based, user defined macros, and our own
"associative machining". 1. Associative Machining
Microvellum's
machining process is revolutionizing the
manufacturing industry. Our associative machining process
allows you to attach machining operations to panel edges.
When parts containing these machining operations touch other
panels, the appropriate machining is applied to one or both
panels.Because the machining is associative, the machining
information follows the part in any angle and in any location.
If the part is deleted from the product, the machining for the
corresponding part is also deleted. It is important to
emphasize that Microvellum's products come with a library that
can easily be configured to your method of construction!
2. Associative Hardware
Machining panels for hardware installation is a big task of
any cabinet maker and associative hardware makes the task very
easy. Just place the hardware and the machining is applied
automatically. The Microvellum Toolbox makes it easy
because you can locate the hardware in a simple 2D AutoCAD
environment. Once the hardware is positioned, you can
update the 3D model to see the result. Expensive mistakes
are avoided with the ability to see the results before the
product is made.

3. Template Based Microvellum will allow you to
make a 2D drawing of any part and apply machining directly to
the face or edge of the panel, picking from the tools on your
CNC machining center. You may then update the 3D model
from the 2D drawing. This process is perfect for making
one-of-a-kind custom products.

4. MacrosFormula driven macros allow you to automate
the template based machining process to speed up repetitive
machining tasks, The power and flexibility of using macros
is limited only by your imagination!
